Laneway Bespoke Design has care instructions for any item/s that require specialised care on each product listing in a tab marked “Care Instructions”  for the care of each specific item. To get the maximum life out of your product, please ensure to take care of your handmade items.

clothing/material:

bibs, onesies, pet bandanas, teddies & tees;
  • DO NOT dry clean.
  • DO NOT wash in hot water. It will fade your design.
  • DO NOT tumble dry.
  • Machine wash separately in cold water.
  • Use mild NON-phosphorous detergents.
  • Remove garments immediately from the washer when done.
  • Avoid bleach and fabric softeners.
  • Hang Drying/Air Drying is recommended.
  • Hand washing is ALWAYS the best option for the longevity of your design.

ceramic mugs:

coffee mugs;
  • NO scrubbing.
  • NO soaking.
  • Are suitable for dishwashers, put on the top rack to help the design last.
  • NOT suitable to freeze (any items).
  • NOT microwave safe.
  • Hand washing is always the best option for the longevity of your design.

drinkware:

bottles & tumblers;
  • HANDWASH ONLY is highly recommended.
  • Rinse with warm water and a dash of dishwashing liquid.
  • Scrub the inside of the bottle with a bottle brush, and remove the lid seal to scrub thoroughly around the lid thread (where it screws into the bottle).
  • Please store your bottle/cup/tumbler dry with the lid slightly ajar to promote airflow.
  • DO NOT store in direct sunlight or heat for long periods of time, as this can cause your print to fade over time.
  • Avoid using abrasive cleaning sponges on the drinkware’s exterior.
  • While dent and scratch-resistant, the drinkware may dent or mark if dropped with force.

earrings:

all earrings;

Please treat your jewellery with care. While acrylic is a durable product, it is still delicate and needs to be treated to ensure your earrings’ life.

  • Avoid abrasives including pool and seawater (don’t recommend swimming or showering).
  • The hooks are made of surgical stainless steel, which can dull due to oils in your hair, makeup, and perfume, so we recommend leaving your jewellery off until the final touch!
  • Avoid contact with any chemicals, perfumes, lotions and sunscreen.
  • To clean simply use a microfibre polishing cloth to remove dust and if that’s not enough some water if needed.
  • We recommend not sleeping in your acrylic earrings.
  • To make your earrings last longer, we recommend you not wear them when bathing, showering, swimming, exercising, etc.

other items:

money boxes, signs, bookmarks;
  • NO scrubbing.
  • NO soaking.
  • DO NOT submerge in water.
  • Be gentle when wiping over as the design can be scratched, particularly with items such as the aluminium sign.
  • Wiping with a microfibre cloth can help with dirt and debris.
  • Baby wipes can help remove tougher marks and dry them with a microfibre cloth.
